This method is used for seed or nut based oils that can only be broken down in higher temperatures. Expeller pressed means the process temperature is usually around 210 degrees(f). The material is fed into an automatic presser. The pressure directly extracts the essential oils, which is collected and strained so no plant matter is present. The leftover dried material is then collected and recycled.
